Westgold Novruz – Happy Shakarbura and Happy Pakhlava
Develop TVC which would target two goals: congratulate the nation with one of the most popular holiday and stimulate consumers to choose Westgold for cooking holiday sweets.
There is a lot of talks about history of Novruz, its philosophy and heritage. The true is that people love this holiday because of two main reasons: fun (jumping over the bonfire) and special holiday sweets - shakarbura and pakhlava.
We avoided all those pretentious and boring discussions about ancient roots and philosophical relations between nature and a human, which are filling the media every year when Novruz is approaching. We “re-named” the holiday. From now on we say Happy Shakarbura and Happy Pakhlava instead of Happy Novruz : ) We showed two popular TV celebrities and one famous singer in a playful shooting of traditional TV program about Novruz. But something went non-traditional… : ) The concept hit the strongest insight, making the TVC most admirable Novruz content on TV.
