What we do
PeopleBrand's marketing strategy work combines rigorous consumer insight with long operational experience running brands as an extension of our clients' teams. We serve leading brands across four core areas:
- Turning insight into direction. We combine qualitative and quantitative research to uncover the emotional, cultural, and behavioural drivers behind consumer choice — then translate them into a strategic direction that gives leadership a clear map for growth.
- Building profitable market positions. We help brands identify where to compete and how to win — whether that means challenging a category leader, defending a hard-won share, or opening a new front by targeting the fragmented segments competitors are ignoring.
- Designing full-funnel growth architectures. We connect brand strategy to commercial performance by orchestrating brand-building, demand generation, retail execution, and CRM into a single coherent system where every marketing dollar is tied to a defined business KPI.
- Managing marketing as a business function. We work as an extension of our clients' teams — building marketing plans, budget frameworks, KPIs, and reporting cadences that give management full visibility over marketing's contribution to the P&L.
Examples of our work
- When new ownership took over Siyəzən, the prevailing view inside the company was that gaining market leadership meant attacking Səba, the category leader with the strongest quality reputation. Our recommendation was the opposite: target the 50% of the market held by small manufacturers who lacked national distribution, marketing budget, and the ability to scale production. That targeting decision — paired with a taste-led positioning — grew Siyəzən into the undisputed leader of Azerbaijan's poultry market, with a share four times that of its nearest competitor.
- ÇİNİCİ's expansion plan called for many mid-sized shops. We proposed another move — consolidating into a smaller number of large three-storey clothing destinations — which solved for the brand's absence from the major shopping malls dominated by international players, dramatically improved the customer experience, and became the structural foundation for its growth.
- A small local shopping centre in a dense residential district, Podium Mall was never going to win against the destination malls on scale. So we designed the "Mall for Every Day" strategy — including a deliberately curated tenant portfolio strategy built to avoid head-on competition and focus every square metre on frequent, repeat, everyday visits from the surrounding community.
